Blanco County sheriff’s deputies who take their vehicles home will be able to do so just a bit further.
The Blanco County Commissioners unanimously approved a measure at their meeting Tuesday to increase the radius from 30 to 45 air miles for patrol deputies who can take their county-issued vehicle home.
The request came from Sheriff Don Jackson, who said most agencies in the area have increased their take-home air mileage to 50 miles.
