The Hill Country CattleWomen (HCCW) have given scholarships to area youth since 1990. Its purpose is to build an awareness of the beef industry and the healthful products it provides for the consumer. We are active in beef promotion, legislation and education. Education is the foundation of these goals. Scholarships have been expanded to high school graduates including career technology (trade) studies.
The addition of the HCCW Charitable Foundation in 2024, further allows the organization to continue to grow its scholarship funds. This year, a total of $35,000 was awarded to two college and ten high school students from the fourteen counties we serve. The scholars are selected in part on scholastic achievement, community service and essay. We are proud to announce the following 2025 awardees.
