I feel we need to address some of the misinformation that is being put out there and our lack of ability to respond to that misinformation in that format. As the Council, we cannot all respond with answers to the questions, comments, or concerns that are being posted on social media thru that platform. Our citizens do deserve answers, and we need to provide them.
Unfortunately, only cropped out sections are being presented and not the entire picture. It would take days for us to recap all of our meetings. I hope not to take days, but bear with me as I hope to address some things that may answer some of your concerns.
Prior to this meeting, as Council and Staff, we have met 18 times among Regular meetings, Special Called meetings and Budget meetings since May 5th. There is a culmination of events that have transpired over the last 3.5 months that have us where we are today.
