Texas DPS troopers responded around 6 p.m. on Friday, July 25 to reports of a multi-vehicle crash on U.S. 281 in Burnet County. According to a preliminary investigation and an arrest affidavit later obtained by multiple news outlets, a white 2018 Dodge Ram 4500—towing a horse trailer loaded with livestock—was traveling north when it veered across the center stripe into the southbound lanes just before the Park Road 4 intersection.
