When Tyler Agnew stepped onto the Blanco Elementary School campus, she just knew she belonged.
“My official first day was July 13, although I spent time on campus before then to begin settling in and getting to know the staff and environment,” said Agnew, who answered questions for the News this week. “From the start, I’ve felt incredibly welcomed and supported by both the staff and the community. The positive energy at BES is contagious, and I feel honored to be part of it.”
The Boerne native has been in education 15 years, including five years in leadership positions. “I’m a proud graduate of Texas State University, where I earned my undergraduate degree,” she said. “I later continued my education at Texas A&M-Commerce, where I earned a master’s in educational leadership. My husband and I have three busy kiddos who keep us on our toes— our son will be in 3rd grade, our daughter is entering 1st grade, and our youngest daughter just turned three. Our family is in the process of moving to Blanco, and we’re so excited to officially call this amazing community our home. We can’t wait to grow deep roots here.”
