The JCISD Back to School Fair was held on Saturday, Aug. 2, at the First Methodist Church Activity Center. The Fair helps provide school supplies to K-8th graders.
Items that were gathered for the students included free backpacks and school supplies. Also offered were vision screenings, health and wellness education, promotional items, and Walmart school supply gift cards for parents to purchase additional supplies.
Organizers Judge Tom Walston and Marilyn Walston said that this year 65 students were served.
