JCISD Returns to Application Requirement for Student Meal Assistance

During the 24-25 school year, Johnson City ISD participated in the Community Eligibility Program which allowed schools to serve free meals for all students. This is not a program that JCISD will continue for the 2025-2026 school year. As a result, Johnson City ISD must return to charging for school meals and offering free and reduced-price meals based on student eligibility.

Families are encouraged to complete the Application for Free and Reduced-Price School Meals and return the completed form online to the Child Nutrition Director or to any school office.

The application will determine a child’s eligibility for free and reduced-price meals and may assist in the determination of eligibility for other state or federal benefits. Only one application needs to be completed per household.
