Mason 4-H members recently attended the District 7 4-H Leadership Lab at the 4-H Center on Lake Brownwood. This three-day camp focused on developing future leaders. The 4-H’ers learned skills in leadership along with character development in ethics and integrity, confidence building, and problem solving. They also took part in the election process of the new District 7 4-H Officers.
Junior 4- H members attended the multi-county (Concho, Llano, Mason, Mc-Culloch, Menard, Runnels) 4-H camp held in Brady at the Heart of Texas Bible Camp on July 1-3, 2025. Fun activities incorporated in the Four Pillars of 4-H engaged campers in learning civic responsibility, healthy living, STEM, and agriculture and sustainable food systems. Members explored new interests, developed friendships, and learned responsibility and time management. Healthy Youth Ambassadors Hannah Holbrook and Phoenix Arrizola assisted with healthy living through instruction and games in the Four Pillars of Exercise, which include flexibility, balance, endurance, and strength.
