The incoming principal at Blanco Elementary will be bringing her love of education and sports to her new role.
“I was born and raised in San Antonio, where I developed a strong passion for sports, particularly basketball and volleyball,” said Suzanne “Suzie” Seabolt, who answered questions for the News in an email recently. “I had the privilege of attending St. Mary’s University in San Antonio on a volleyball scholarship, where I served as team captain during my final two years. After that, I pursued my master’s degree in educational leadership at the University of Texas-San Antonio.”
The school district announced her hiring in April: “Ms. Seabolt brings over 14 years of administrative experience, having served as the principal of Johnson Ranch Elementary in Comal ISD for the past 11 years. Before that, she served as the assistant principal at Wilderness Oak Elementary in North East ISD for three years. Her background also includes experience as both an elementary and middle school teacher.”
