One key piece of the Llano Independent School District coaching staff has been promoted.

Colton Center, a 2016 Llano High School graduate, is the football program’s new offensive line coach after spending five years coaching at Llano Junior High. Center was a lineman for his alma mater before signing to play football at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.

“He’s been with us for a long time,” said athletic director Matt Green, who also serves as the football program’s head coach. “He was a junior high football, basketball and track coach.”
