LBJ National Historical Park has a new Park Superintendent. A Meet and Greet event was held at William Chris Vineyards to introduce Park Superintendent Matt Carroll to the community on June 18th. Carroll has been with the National Park Service since May, 2015.
A large group were on hand to welcome the new Park Superintendent, and Carroll was introduced by Terry Casparis, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Friends of Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park.
Carroll shared updates on the construction work at LBJ Ranch. “Efforts that are underway include stabilization of the Texas White House residence and Hangar along with exterior work on the Communications Building and interior reconfiguration of the Klein Shop.”
