Needing a new defensive coordinator for the Llano High School football program, head coach Matt Green didn’t look too far for the next hire.
He simply went down Texas 29 to Mason, naming Punchers former head coach Michael McLeod as the new Yellow Jackets’ defensive leader.
McLeod and his wife, Llano graduate Kyndel McLeod, had already been hired as coaches when Matt Anastasio, who served as the Jackets’ defensive coordinator, announced his retirement.
