JCISD Trustees held a Special meeting on June 17, 2025 at 4:00 PM which was followed by a tour of the middle school construction. The meeting adjourned at 5:48 PM.
Board President Sarah Allen called the meeting to order at 4:01 pm and led the Invocation. There were no public comments.
Key discussion points included the board’s recent participation in the Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) held on June 11–13. Trustees shared insights and takeaways from the conference, emphasizing leadership strategies and district improvement practices gained through the sessions.
Superintendent Ben Eubanks presented a comprehensive update on current construction projects.
Board members reviewed progress on the new LBJ Middle School and renovations to the high school field house. Trustees conducted an on-site tour of both facilities as part of the meeting to better understand the scope and status of each project.
