Marble Falls Principal, Assistant Principal Recognized as ‘Principals of the Year’

Marble Falls High School Principal Patrick Hinson has been named 2025-2026 Region 13 High School Principal of the Year. The award is sponsored by the Texas Association of Secondary School Principals (TASSP) and highlights excellence from the region and state from campus leaders.

Hinson has worked for Marble Falls High School the past two school years. He has worked in education for the past 22 years. He earned his undergraduate degree from Freed-Hardeman University in Henderson, Tennessee, with a bachelors degree in biology. Through Concordia University in Austin, he earned his masters degree in education administration and also earned his superintendent certification from the University of Texas at Tyler.

Hinson has developed a strong culture at the high school and definitely lives the TASSP mission of “Above All, Students First”. His visibility across the campus is noticed by his students and staff. He has pushed to ensure that student voice is a strong part of his decision-making process. High school parents look for him at all evening events and enjoy the accessibility they have with him.
