The Llano County Pro Rodeo was a hit once again, bringing in fans from all over — including a few visitors all the way from Sweden. With exciting events, entertainment and plenty of hometown spirit, the weekend was full of energy and fun for all ages.

The Llano Rodeo Parade kicked off the weekend’s festivities on Friday, June 6, at 4:00 p.m., bringing a wave of small-town charm to downtown Llano. About 30 colorful and creative floats made their way down Ford Street and around the Courthouse square, as crowds braved one of the hottest afternoons of the year to cheer them on. The parade featured everything from horseback riders and rodeo queens to motorcycles and playful clown cars. Many floats were interactive, with participants tossing candy, spraying water guns, and blasting music — creating a lively, fun-filled atmosphere.

In the float competition, 4L Western Wear took home 1st place in the Commercial Category, followed by the Pink Cactus in 2nd, and Bobcat of Marble Falls in 3rd. Kingsland's 2024 Miss Aquaboom Scholarship Pageant took 1st place in the Non-Commercial Category, followed by Llano County Farm Bureau in 2nd and Stonewall Peach Jamboree in 3rd. In the horse group, Texas Spirit Riders took 1st, Aubrey and Malinda Hoerster 2nd, and the JLK Arena 3rd.
