Recently, members of the Mason County Courthouse Rebuild team attended the Real Places conference in Austin to receive recognition and a special award.
The Award of Excellence in Historic Architecture recognizes an architect, architectural firm, or project for exemplary work making a significant contribution to the preservation of Texas’ architectural heritage.
Last July, Mason County rededicated and reopened its courthouse building after more than two years of preservation work.
